On 1st December we launched Wonderland, our Christmas film, reminding the nation to cherish time together with their loved ones.

Director:    Sam Brown
DOP:          Tom Townend

The film was chosen as one of Campaign Magazine’s top 15 ads of the year.

To promote the BBC’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup in Russia, we made a film that contained over 600 unique embroidered frames: a feat never before attempted at this scale and level of detail.

Alongside the film we created a real historical document - a 7 metre long embroidered tapestry depicting famous World Cup moments. The tapestry was displayed at Manchester’s National Football Museum, and was updated after the tournament with the best moments from Russia. A replica was also exhibited in Moscow’s Tsaritsyno Museum.

To launch the new BBC Weather app, we charted the journey of a single sunbeam and a single raindrop on their perilous journey to earth. Voiceover was provided by Sir Michael Gambon.

The campaign also included tv blips, radio, print, digital, social and mugs.

We made a video seen by 5 million eyeballs.

Young people like football but can’t afford Sky or BT Sport subscriptions so they illegally stream matches. Fortunately BBC Sport are showing every FA Cup game... for free!
