If you’re into it, it’s in the V&A

The V&A Museum

People often don’t think museums have anything they’ll be into. But the V&A has 2.8 million items. Cool stuff like Hello Kitty rice cookers and the Millennium Falcon and Beyoncé’s butterfly ring… you know, stuff you’ll actually be into.

In fact, because it’s got everything… if you’re into it, it’s in the V&A.

So we set out to prove it.

We left handmade vases in antiques shops to be found by pottery lovers...

Hacked GTA Online to take our message to gamers.

Targeted football fans at Premier League games.

Hit golf balls into circulation at driving ranges.

Rebound hundred-year-old books and snuck them into London’s trendiest bookshops.

Buried silver tankards for metal detectorists…

And much, much more…

Then we took out ads in special interest magazines...

…like the Angling Times, FourFourTwo, and T2.

And ran 70 targeted posters featuring V&A objects relevant to their locations.

Hidden items featured QR codes that directed finders to the V&A items they’d be into.

And when we realised there was nothing in the V&A for Swifties...

We politely encouraged the V&A to hire someone to sort that out.

And people liked it. Like, really liked it.

No-one more so than this bloke…

Nice one, mate!
